KAMILA IżYKOWICZ
I am a Futures Designer who specialises in strategic foresight and regenerative design, guiding teams and organisations towards preferred futures. I use storytelling as a catalyst for change, crafting future-facing narratives and prototypes that stimulate innovation through design exploration. My broad experience in futurism and design across the hospitality and retail sectors includes a Master’s degree in Design Products and Futures from the Royal College of Art (RCA), where I was awarded distinctions for my multidisciplinary research on human needs amid rapid global modernisation. As a Futures Designer for the UK's largest employee-owned business, I apply Futures and Design Studies methodologies to drive innovation and support effective leadership in strategic planning and future-proofing. Collaborating with institutions, governmental bodies, and esteemed universities, I integrate future-focused perspectives into practical industry applications. I use design and storytelling as a catalyst for change, and my work was showcased internationally at venues like Tate Modern, London Design Biennale, Dutch Design Week, Vienna Design Week, and Design INDABA. I won awards such as Creative Conscience and the Far Futuring Grand Challenge by CERN, Logitech, RCA, and the Art and Fashion Forum. As a speaker, I presented at Kingston University, RCA, University at Buffalo (NY), and Tischner European University.
