NOVŌ the city as a platform
⏤ An exploration of the future of personalised interaction, redefining the city as a platform and shifting the focus from customers to citizens.
What? We envisioned the seamless integration of technology into daily life, where personal data collection supports citizens. This vision was brought to life through five short videos, illustrating future experiences in the city of NOVŌ.
How? By analysing the evolution of city spaces through STEEP lenses, we introduced a concept of a new city, community, and communication.
Why? Our aim is to empathise and support, rather than sell and target, raising critical questions about the roles and responsibilities of emerging media experiences and interactions.
The global demand for climate, technological and social justice is evident and in many ways is questioning the actions, data use and intentions of messaging in commercial propositions.
Future media services and products driven by the Purpose are expected to support future cities and communities where:
local and global economies co-exist (happier business)
ageing communities actively care for each other and the environment (happier people)
exchange of data is built on trust, full transparency and respecting privacy (happier world)
These serve to build a safe, accessible, and desirable future.
